This collection consists of miscellaneous personal souvenirs and papers of Lieutenant Commander Denny. It is arranged in three sections. The first section consists of Navy related materials, including World War II era artifacts. Of interest in this section are photographs of WAVES, ration books, and an issue of Sounding Off, the newspaper of the Naval Reserve Midshipman's School in Northampton, Massachusetts, dated 2 May 1944. The second section consists of information relating to the legal aspects of selective service and several newspaper clippings about women lawyers. The third section, oversized materials, contains newspaper articles covering Admiral Nimitz's victory parade in 1945.
